Rend Lake College seeks an Assistant Manager of Food Services for the main Ina Campus. This individual will coordinate with the Director of Food Services on all operations including scheduling; supervise student workers and part-time retail staff; assist with the training of student workers and part-time staff; track inventory and place orders; assist with department reporting as needed; ensure quality customer service and product satisfaction; compile daily reports as requested; assist with the development of menus & daily specials; prepare daily breakfast and lunch items; maintain a clean and sanitized work area; provide product descriptions to patrons; follow all requirements and regulations as defined by the Department of Public Health and Food Sanitation. // Part-time, non-tenure track position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree or Culinary Arts Certificate required
Illinois Food Handler certification required
Illinois Food Manager certification required
Good communication & customer service skills
Ability to lift 30 pounds as needed
Ability to work well with others
All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Wage: $17 per hour
35 hours per week
Accrued Personal Time
