Finally got some hatching eggs for my broody girl! 🐔🥚🥹

Look at all those beautiful colors. 🌈 From soft greens to speckled browns and creamy whites, every egg holds the possibility of a fluffy little chick.

Now my sweet mama hen gets to do what she does best—sit, protect, and hopefully hatch out some healthy babies. 💙🐣

I can't wait to see what colors and personalities we end up with. The countdown to peeps officially begins! 🤗✨

My broody girl finally got some eggs of her own. 🥹🐔🥚

Now she'll spend the next few weeks giving me dirty looks every time I check on her while she works her magic. 🤣

Fingers crossed for healthy hatches and lots of tiny fluffy butts running around soon. 🐣💙

Evening egg collection was a success! 🐔🥚✨

The girls were busy today, and one lucky hen gifted us a HUGE double-yolk egg. The photos don't do it justice—even next to a standard egg, this thing looked enormous! 😳

Well... it finally happened. 😅

I have my first ever broody hen. She's sitting in the nesting box giving me the stink eye, puffing up like a tiny feathered dragon, and fully convinced she's about to become a mother. 🐔🥚

The only problem? She doesn't have any fertilized eggs. 😂

Do I need to go get this girl some babies to hatch, or do I let her ride out her little motherhood phase? Either way, she's taking her job very seriously. 💓

It’s a hot and humid one here in Missouri summer has only begun.
The girls have found a new spot to bathe this season. 🐓

Last year they loved to be under the trailers; which fit them all of them..but my son’s tiny water table is the winner!! 😂😅🤣
