The maples are blooming! Hopefully the girls can get the most out of them this year, and it will not rain so much they can't get out to get the nectar and pollen!

God gave us another beautiful day today, and the girls were out and about and were everywhere! They were looking for pollen, but unfortunately noting is blooming yet, so I gave them some artificial pollen that we had stored in the freezer. It did not take them long to find it and start bringing it into the hive. Here are two videos I took of them gathering the pollen, and then going in to the hives with their pollen baskets full of the pollen! I hope you enjoy!

Hi , we will be putting eggs in the self serve freezer again this week, Starting Monday. We will keep the eggs in there until it gets too cold and we have to take them out, so look for the sign to be open. If it is open, there should be eggs in there, if it is shut we took the eggs out are are out of eggs at the moment. Thank you!

Hi everyone! It looks like we will be taking the eggs out again Friday afternoon. We don't want the eggs to freeze, so if you want farm fresh free range rainbow eggs, get them soon! We will put them back in when it warms up enough again. Just look for the egg sign by the " Honey for sale" sign to be open. Thank you! :)

We checked our girls here at home and they are doing great! We saw eggs, larvae and brood in most of them, and saw queens in all of them! Lots of Honey still too! It is usually normal for us to find brood in February if we are lucky enough to have beautiful weather like this! If it is colder than the middle 50's or so, we usually do not do too much other than look to see if they have food. This is because we do not like to have the hives open because usually in our experience, they start rearing some brood in middle to late February, and we do not want the brood and or eggs and larvae to get chilled.

The girls are out and about looking for food on this gorgeous day! We will probably get in the hives and try to make sure that they have what they need, and help clean the hives up for them a little during this nice weather!

There are eggs in the freezer at the church! We will periodically take them out when it gets too cold, but will have them in there as long as we can! Just look for the sign on the post near where it says local honey. If the sign is open there are eggs, if it is closed, eggs are not available at this time! Thank you!

Hi Everyone! It has been a while since I have posted! Sorry about that, we get busy and sometimes I just don't know what to post! lol! Well, anyway, we will be pulling Jam and eggs from the self serve freezer Tuesday November 25th ,so that they do not freeze, so if you want some, go get it now! Also, if the weather warms up for a spell, we may periodically put eggs and or Jam back in until it freezes again. To know for sure if we have eggs in there, look to see if the egg sign on the post by the gate is open. It it is closed, eggs are unavailable. Thank you all for your business!
