I’ve been hearing all about this egg shortage… Kroger eggs for $6 a dozen? 🥴 Good news is my girls are still laying pretty well for this time of year. I have enough to sell 1-2 dozen a week if anyone needs some. $5 a dozen

‼️STOP THROWING AWAY YOUR EGG SHELLS‼️

Egg shells are almost entirely calcium and can be put aside in a container of your choosing after you crack your eggs. For large batches of shells all at once, you can place them in a baking sheet in the oven at 350 for about 10-15 minutes. Then toss in a blender and grind. Sprinkle around the base of your veggie plants for extra nutrients! You’ll be amazed at how happy your plants are! AND you’ll save money. If you’re using our eggs and you strive for organic gardening, this is perfect!

Springtime in Kentucky means an abundance of edible flowers and other plants. Violets being one. One of my favorite recipes is beautiful violet jelly. 💜 It tastes more like sweet berries then flowers but man is it so pretty. Not only is it beautiful and delicious, but violets have long been used for their anti-inflammatory qualities as well as for their immune boosting benefits as they are high in vitamin C and A.

Today Wyatt and I went into the woods to collect wild violets to make this Appalachian favorite. After thoroughly inspecting and rinsing the flowers they have gone into a jar of boiling water to steep for 24 hours before the next phase of the jelly making process begins!

I will have limited 4oz jars available for purchase this week. They will be $8 per jar. If you would like some, it will be first come first serve. Comment on this post below and I will go in order to keep it fair.

Love farm fresh eggs? Here is how you can store them without refrigeration for up to a YEAR! 🤯 That’s right! You can keep eggs fresh for a whole year by water glassing them! If you would like to do this, let me know prior to picking up your eggs so I can ensure you get the perfect eggs to begin water glassing. With the predicted egg shortage coming our way, there has never been a better time!

We have LOTS of beautiful, FRESH, delicious eggs!! Currently we have 2 1/2 dozen available! These are from our very loved, spoiled hens. Our eggs are high in omegas, organic, and you can be assured they from very happy chickens! $4 for a dozen of $2 for a half.

The ladies are kicking it into a higher gear with the increased daylight and we are not only getting MORE eggs but ✨GORGEOUS✨ eggs!! The boys will be selling them for $4 a dozen or $2 a half dozen. We will deliver depending on location.
