This Pop-up is on today from 4pm-8pm. Stop in to try our newest limited option.

😋 For only $13, you get smoked carnitas, house seasoned black beans, spanish rice, pico de gallo, corn, monterey jack cheese, and chipotle ranch, all wrapped up in a burrito shell and grilled! And if that did not fill you up enough, you also get a bag of chips!

🌯 And here is a sneak peak of our Smoked Carnitas Burrito for our Pop-up tomorrow! This burrito is loaded with flavor, and features smoked carnitas, flavorful black beans, corn, pico de gallo, spanish rice, cheese, and chipotle ranch. All of this wrapped up in a burrito shell and grilled to perfection! Sounds like the perfect meal to pair with our El Caballo Mexican Ale as the summer winds down.

🃏 August's postponed Euchre night is this Friday, August 21st at 6pm! Our regularly scheduled 1st Friday Euchre Tournament on the 7th was cancelled due to sever weather and power outages. ⛈️

🍺 Grab a drink, bring a partner, and join us for fun, friendly competition!🫡

These tournaments are monthly on the first Friday of the month. Entry is free, so come enjoy some competitive games and have more cash for drinks! Don't know how to play? There will be experienced players that would love to teach you!

We will be playing according to World Euchre Federation rules.

📆 How is it August 10 already? My how the time flies! Here is our events schedule for the remainder of the month!

🃏 Euchre Tournament, typically on the 1st Friday of the month has been postponed to August 21 due to the storms and power outage last Friday night.

🛶 Yaks and Brews - The second and final Yaks and Brews event for the year is coming up this Thursday on August 13. Get registered, link in the comments!

🌯 Smoky Carnitas Burrito Pop-up on August 22, this is going to be tasty, you don't want to miss it!

🏠 Sips & Bites - Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser. This is a ticket event on the 29th from 5:30-6:30pm. We will be open as usual, but you need to register to join in on the fun! We are one of many stops that night where you can sample tasty drinks, snacks, and learn about Habitat for Humanity!

Power has been out for over an hour now, so we are closing up shop for the night. We served a few beers by LED candlelight before the batteries ran out. 😅

🤩The Iowa Craft Beer Tent is serving up 279 unique craft beverages, including beers, ciders, slushies, and sodas at the Iowa State Fair. Incredible work!

You are not likely to find a better place to sample some of the best and most unique cold beverages that Iowa has to offer!

We started the year with a goal of serving 250 different Iowa craft beers, ciders, slushies, and sodas at the 2026 Iowa State Fair.

Well, we failed.

When the final count was complete, we discovered we didn’t just hit our goal — we passed it. We are excited to announce that we will be serving 279 unique offerings across the 119 taps under the tent this year.

That’s right — 279 different Iowa craft beers, ciders, slushies, and sodas for you to explore.
