🃏 Euchre returns to the taproom tonight, Friday, June 5th at 6pm!

🍺 Grab a drink, bring a partner, and join us for fun, friendly competition!🫡

These tournaments will be monthly on the first Friday of the month for the forseeable future. Entry is free, so come enjoy some competitive games and have more cash for drinks! Don't know how to play? There will be experienced players that would love to teach you!

We will be playing according to World Euchre Federation rules.

‼️ Just a heads up, our next Euchre tournament will be on THURSDAY July 2. This is outside of our normal schedule (1st Friday), because Celebrate Indee festivities start on Friday... Save the date!

👟 Strap on your running shoes and join the Indee Run Club tonight for Miles & Pints!

🕛 Starting at 5:15pm in the back parking lot, the Indee Run Club will do a 1 mile loop and then stop back at the Taproom for a drink. Walkers are also welcome.

Following that is a running seminar presented by Justine Reed at the Steeple Studio. She knows her stuff, it is sure to be an awesome presentation!

☀ Summer is in full swing, and with it comes our June calendar! Take a look at what we have in store this month, and mark your calendar appropriately! A few of the highlights include:

🧀 June 4 - National Cheese Day! Stop in for 1/2 off cheese sticks.
🀄 June 19 - A new monthly tradition on the 3rd Friday of each month, Mahjong! Aaron and Cody loved learning how to play this game when we hosted a Mahjong 101 course last month, so we thought we would bring it back to the taproom on a regular basis!
🥓 June 20 - Pulled Pork Popup! This was a hit last fall, so we are bringing it back! Expect smoked pull pork sliders and a few choices of sides!
🎱 June 26 - BINGO - We have had trouble getting both players and callers for this event in the past few months. We will see how it goes on the 26th, but we may give this event a rest until next winter depending on turnout. If you want to volunteer your services Bingo for us, let us know in the comments or via private message! This person gets free beer all night, so it isn't a half bad gig! 😉

📆 Don't forget about our Mug Club/Founders Club release for El Caballo Mexican Ale tonight from 5pm-8pm!

🍺 Warm weather and sunshine is finally here, and with it comes everybody's favorite El Caballo Mexican Ale! This summer seasonal beer features flaked corn and ample lime flavor for the perfect summertime pint!

🍕 Our kitchen will also be open for this release event, so come hungry!

🤤 For non-club members who are chomping at the bit for a pint of El Caballo, it will be publicly available starting tomorrow, Thursday May 28 at 3pm.

We got a big (for us) shipment of grain a few weeks ago. This is all of the grain we need for the beer we are brewing before RAGBRAI sweeps through Independence! How exciting!

‼ Don't forget about our Cuban Sandwich Pop-up tonight from 4pm-8pm! Whether you have been out on the river, doing yard work, or just spending the day with your family; let us cook for you on this Memorial Day weekend!

🤤 This sandwich features house-baked Pan Cubano (Cuban bread) with a crispy crust and pillowy interior, slow roasted Cuban pork, sweet ham, crunchy pickles, and a tangy mustard sauce! In addition, we will have optional sides of air fried plantains or coleslaw. Yummy! You HAVE TO try the fried plantains! If you have been to the Tampa/Miami area of Florida, you will know that fried plantains and fried yucca feature pretty heavily in Cuban cuisine. You might be surprised how tasty they are!
