These eggs go back to the chickens... Sometimes there is a hiccup in the process and they don't harden the shell. Then they lay what is known as a soft shell egg. Nothing is wrong with it. Technically it is edible. This one was extra weird as it has an XL rubbery sac around the firm egg. I thought it was a water balloon on my porch!
