Can you feel that nip in the air? Fall is definitely here! Halloween is next week which is hard to believe. OMG Thanksgiving is around the corner and that means WE WILL BE OPEN THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING 8am-4 pm and EVERY WEEKEND TILL CHRISTMAS 8-4. Weekday afternoon appointments are available also. I'd better stop typing and GET READY! QE

Even though an article in today's Sunday paper said Iowa Christmas Trees get sold out, NOT US! Come see what we have, there is plenty to choose from. QE

We are getting ready for you to pick out your family Christmas Trees. This week we have been busy making fresh wreaths. An update on our hours, we have expaned to WEEKDAY AFTERNOONS by appointment only. This will help out folks that work on the weekends! Another update on the height of the trees. ( I heard a cheer go out from the big tree lovers!) They are up to 12 ft. There are some really nice big trees and yes they are Firs. Come out to see what we have at QUALITY EVERGREENS.

2024 hours to pick out your tree. We will be open the day after Thanksgiving 8-4 and every Saturday/Sunday 8-4 till Christmas. All pups are welcome but on a leash of course. We will be looking forward to seeing you soon. QE and the teenage pup.

The background to this story. Some of you may know this some may not. In Sept of 2023 our white Lab Sadie passed away. Last Christmas was especially hard for us not having her but also many of our Tree Family Customers. Even today we miss her BUT we will not forget her. We did move on from our sorrow and do have another dog. In the next post I'll introduce her so you'll all be ready for the wiggly lively pup when you come out to the farm to pick out your family tree!!!

Here it is the first part of October and STELLAR 75 degree days. Only 52 more days till opening day to pick your family tree here at the farm!! Yep the days fly by with planting, mowing, pruning, mowing, taking sticks off leaders and of course more mowing. Even though we have had dry weather the bigger trees LOOK AMAZING. I just don't say that because we baby them along but they REALLY DO LOOK GOOD. I'll be anxious to see what you all think. We'll be ready to see you and your family!!

Spring 2024 has been busy here at Quality Evergreens. New trees have been planted, mowing has begun, and isn't the new growth on the trees pretty? Having rain sure is helpful for the new growth.

Thanks to everyone that came out to Quality Evergreens to find their family tree. It's offical the 2023 tree season is over. The shaker, baler, and wreath making machine have been put away. The evergreen scent has faded. Lights in the shop have been taken down. BUT don't worry we will be planting more trees in the spring of 2024. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
