These bean panels, (cattle panels) will keep on pumping until they freeze, but production will be much lower from now on. I pulled about 15 pounds from 3 panels. These have already been processed and are going in my dogs food. The dogs love them and the fiber is good for them.

These are the only two types of tomato I grow anymore. Ozark pink and costoluto genovese. They're both very heat tolerant, produce well, and folks seem to like them. Also, they snap off the vine super easy, no stem twisting. I only planted a few this year, but when I fill two greenhouses full, that quick snap harvest really counts.

I believe this is the first time I have ever purchased supplemental tomato plants. I only intended to grow enough this year for myself and a few others. But then, while shopping at a Walmart neighborhood market, I noticed the lady in front of me, buying one single, ugly, basic red tomato...It was almost $4 bucks! I will also be replanting the first suckers I cut from the tomatoes I already have in the ground. They clone very easily. Folks grow extra, this might be a bumpy year for us all.

Well aged wood chippings are great for w**d block and for slow feeding your plants.

Had everything outside to harden off, but with lows hitting the upper 30s this week, decided to bring them back in. Even if the low temps don't kill them, it could stunt their growth significantly.
