Another brew day, another adventure!! Today we are brewing our first Dunkel, using the turkey fryer to accomplish a two decoction step mash, to hopefully develop some nice sweet bready flavor. Next week, we will be brewing our fist Marzen. Really looking forward to seeing how they both turn out. Of course, Supervisor Barley came to make sure we were being safe. He yelled at me for not wearing the safety gloves like Shannon.....then he ran off to scare the birds away from the bush. It's a beautiful day to be brewing!!! Cheers!!!

It was fun tapping the Lemon Lavender Saison this weekend. Thanks to all our friends and family who came out to try it! They may still have a little left if you want to check it out this week! Thanks to G&T for letting us share our love of making beer with the community!

The Lemon-Lavender Saison is superb! Thank you Shannon and Eric of Flip The Record Brewing for sharing your recipe and the brew day! We’ve still got some left, but we are on the last keg.
It’s Saturday, so we’ll have our 9-9-9 Combo available during the KC game at 3pm. Register in-person with the bartender before the first pitch.

We had a great time at NKC Spring Fling Home Brew Fest! We helped raise money for STEM Education while sharing our love of beer! Thanks again to all who came out to support us. We were honored to receive 1st place in People's Choice, Tied for 2nd in Judges Choice and 3rd in Brewer's Choice. This was a great competition and we are looking forward to the next one!

1st Place - People's Choice. Tied for 2nd - Judges Choice. 3rd Place - Brewer's Choice. Spring Fling in North Kansas City was a success! Thanks for all who came out to support us. We raised over $200 for a great cause - NKCSD STEM Program. We had a blast and hope you did too!

🍻 Get ready for the Spring Fling Beer Fest this Saturday! 🍻

We are so excited to see everyone this weekend! We’ve got a fantastic lineup, but NKC does things a little differently for this competition.

Instead of traditional ballots, we’re keeping it fun and impactful: Every dollar donated = one vote for your favorite brew! 💵🗳️

All proceeds are going directly to the NKCSD Foundation 5th grade STEM program to support our local students. Come prepared with some cash in your pocket to cast your votes and help us make a big difference while we enjoy some great beer. See you Saturday evening!

We are out at Grains and Taps in Lee's Summit brewing a batch of our Garden Grove West Coast IPA for their West Coast Wednesdays Series. Celebrating with a beer or two at Konrads. We were part of a three way tie for first place in the Brewers Choice category. And we also received second place in the People's Choice category. So overall, we had a great day!! Thanks to everyone who showed up in support, we hope you had a great time!! We had a blast!!
