Little update. Around this time of year I shut down production to spend the last few weekends of summer with the kids. The market will still be going on, I just will not be bringing anything except a few limited selections.
This is also the time of year where I like to reflect, and give a report on the state of the farm and season.

My number one take home from this year, NEVER mulch over ground cover. I created by far my biggest roadblock, wasted a ton of funding and most importantly time.

Unfortunately for my local Indiahomans, I didn’t have a great place or schedule to allow my usual at home traffic, it is noted and you are not forgotten. ❤️

I do still work over full time with other ventures, ventures that within the next few weeks I plan to rebrand and merge into the Holsey Acres Farms brand. So please be patient with me, I’m the farmer, husband, father, builder, plumber, electrician, groundskeeper, book keeper, delivery person, salesman, equipment operator, mechanic, herdsman, and wearer of many more hats in this operation. ✊🏻🙏

Lots of projects and projected plans are in action, in progress and going to happen. It may take longer than expected, or cost more and more each year, but I will prevail. Next year, no mulch, hopefully more time and a on site sales model first and foremost.
