🙏❤️ ALL GLORY TO GOD! ❤️🙏
It’s not every day that we get to share a moment like this, and honestly, I’m not even sure it’s ever happened before in the history of our little family business!
For the first time since we started this journey, we have officially SOLD OUT of our flagship Mediterranean Basil Salt seasoning here at the Bloomsburg Fair’s Covered Bridge Festival! And not only did we sell out, but we stocked THREE TIMES our normal amount for this show and still managed to run out. We’re honestly still trying to wrap our heads around it! We’ve been blessed with two amazing shows this weekend and we’re also finishing up our last weekend at National Apple Harvest Festival to boot!
But as exciting as that is, what makes this moment so special to us goes far beyond the numbers, the sales, or an empty table.
It’s about people. It’s about kindness. And it’s about the blessings God places in our lives when we least expect them. ❤️
These two amazing young people in the picture came by and purchased what was left of our Mediterranean Basil Salt, helping us sell out completely. We are so incredibly grateful to them, and we wanted to take a moment to recognize them and say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! Also as a cute side note, they said this was actually their first time having their picture taken together, so we also add a special prayer of blessing over their future 🙏🏻
Running a small family business is not always the beautiful, rewarding journey people see from the outside. There are tremendous sacrifices, long days, financial pressures, and struggles that take a toll on you physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually. There are moments when you’re exhausted, when you question yourself, and when you wonder if all the time, energy, and sacrifice are really making a difference.
And then God sends you a moment like this. 🙏
A moment that reminds you to stop, take a breath, count your blessings, and remember that there is still so much good in this world. A moment that reminds you that behind every transaction is a person, behind every small business is a family, and behind every blessing is a reason to be grateful.
We never want to take a single customer, a single purchase, or a single opportunity to share what we’ve worked so hard to create for granted. We know there are so many wonderful small businesses out there working just as hard, making sacrifices, and praying for their own little victories. So to experience something like this leaves us feeling not just excited, but truly humbled.
To everyone who has supported Mediterranean Basil Salt, shared our posts, stopped by our booth, told a friend about us, or welcomed our seasonings into your home and onto your family’s table — THANK YOU! You are the reason we get to keep doing what we love, and we never want to lose sight of that.
And to these two wonderful young people, thank you for being part of a moment we won’t soon forget. You have no idea how much we appreciate you!
We give all the glory to God, because we know that every good and perfect gift comes from Him. We pray that, no matter how much this little business grows, we always remain grateful, grounded, and faithful to the purpose behind it all.
As Matthew 5:16 reminds us, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
That’s what we hope to do — not just make healthy taste good, but to share a little light, kindness, and love along the way.
From our family to yours, thank you for being part of our journey. Our hearts are full, our gratitude is overflowing, and we give God all the glory!
