Quick trip to in La Jolla for a domestic cheese haul. Haven’t been in FOREVER but they just received a shipment of cheese from in Logsden, OR and I needed to get my hands on it immediately. Came home with Beltane & Siltcoos. Two gorgeous and superbly delicious goat cheeses covered in ferns. The orange of the Beltane comes from annato and the Siltcoos was the brightest cleanest goat cheese I think I’ve ever had. Apparently they are down a dirt road and rarely sell their cheeses outside of Oregon. Also came home with some Llanes and Mariana from , Imperial Buck from , Lillian from , and Fennel Bay Blue from . All very special and delicious cheeses!! Thanks Jenny for the chat and the amazing tastings! Put together another mini tasting of my own when I got home which included some amazing NY Strip Bresaola from Tony Incontro. Fantastic! 😋

* Holy Cow Creamy Swiss - Award winning cow’s milk cheese from in Paso Robles, CA.
* Faultline - a cheddar, alpine, gouda hybrid of sorts also from . A replacement for the beloved but discontinued Ewereka, this will definitely be a crowd pleaser on any cheese board!
