Update: we have raised about $1,300 for tornado relief. Yesterday I went to buy some diapers, OTC meds, and grocery store gift cards and then met up with the people that needed them. I still have $695 to use but am waiting for specific needs to arise.
Due to the overwhelming outpouring of love and support, donation centers are not taking anymore physical items at this time. They are overflowing (which is a good thing!) People are still displaced meaning they have no where to put the items that have been donated. They're anticipating in the next few weeks as people find placement, the donation centers will clear out a bit and donations will re open. In the meantime, I am going to take down the Amazon Wish List. All items that have been purchased will still be donated!
