Gullion Family Wines We are a family owned winery with deep love for our country ! He is buried in Indiana near the Markland Dam in a cemetery that bears the Gullion family name.

Hi, we are Steve & Melissa Kowgitz and we were inspired to start Gullion Family Wines one evening when we were doing two things that we both enjoy (drinking wine and listening to live music). We are deeply patriotic and we love our country and we wanted to find a way to celebrate that so the Gullion name was chosen. Robert Gullion is Steve's 5th Great Grandfather and he joined the Westmoreland Co

unty, Pennsylvania Militia the age of 16 and he served in the American Revolution. He ultimately settled in what would later become Indiana in 1799 (among the first in the area) near what is now Vevay, Switzerland County IN.
