Summer GC update:
When we closed our shared storefront kitchen and grab-and-go cooler on June 13, I shared that we were taking the summer off to rest and explore the possibility of finding another storefront. I know many of you have been patiently waiting and hoping to hear that we'd be opening our doors again somewhere new.
After a lot of prayer, conversations, and soul-searching, I've made the difficult decision not to pursue another storefront at this time. As much as I loved having a place for you to stop in, the reality is that today's mortgage and commercial property costs just aren't where they need to be for our business to make that leap, sustain and thrive. It is not about our funding, it’s what we are willing to invest at this time. The market is just too high right now and I’m not willing to invest anymore in a new location.
This wasn't an easy decision. In fact, it's one that has brought a lot of mixed emotions. Geist Charcuterie has been so much more than a business to me. It has been a place where I've met incredible people, celebrated your milestones, shared in your holidays, and built friendships that I'll always treasure. For that, I will be forever grateful.
But sometimes God closes one door so he can open another.
I'm excited to share that Geist Charcuterie is transitioning into an exclusive luxury private chef service, allowing me to continue creating beautiful meals and memorable experiences in a way that better fits this season of life.
And here's something that feels like confirmation that we're on the right path—we booked our very first weekly private chef client this week! I couldn't be more excited about what the future holds.

Thank you for every order, every encouraging word, every recommendation, every social media share, and every time you chose to support my dream. Small businesses survive because of people like you, and I will never take that for granted.
This chapter may look different than many of us expected, but I truly believe it's the right one. I hope you'll continue this journey with me as Geist Charcuterie evolves into a new private chef service.
This isn't goodbye to Geist Charcuterie. It's simply the beginning of a different story—and I can't wait to share it with you. ❤️
