Thistledown Dorsets

Here is a Thistledown February ram lamb that will be offered for sale with Parker Farms, our partners in our Dorset club lamb project. He will be available at their open house March 26-29, along with some
of the nation’s best Southdowns. They are located about 30 minutes south of the Midwest Elite Sale in Indianapolis. This lamb is sired by a keeper ram from last year, who was sired by Modern Marvel and out of a Stillwell ewe who was dammed by their great Johnston donor ewe. The dam of the pictured lamb is a Knittel ewe sired by Nose Candy, that did quite a bit of winning for Brea.

Congratulations to Leland Ging and the whole Ging family on a strong first showing in Louisville, and for having confidence in our small but improving program. This Thistledown ewe lamb was fourth in class in a very strong Open show. She is YOLO (Flash) x a Knittel Nose Candy daughter.
