Hello, Phillips Produce friends!
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Tammy, Steve's older sister and one of the newest faces you'll be seeing around the fruitstand.
Now, before Steve jumps into the comments, I'd like to clear up a few things. First, despite what he tells people, he is NOT an only child. He actually has two sisters.🙋♀️🙋♀️ Second, despite his repeated claims, I am NOT 75 years old. I am older than him, but not by nearly that much! 😂
Lately, I've been spending my days off helping out at the stand on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Phillips Produce has been a part of our family's story since our grandfather, Vince Romano, started the fruit stand back in 1979, so it's been a lot of fun spending more time here and getting to know so many of the wonderful customers who have supported us over the years.
If you stop by and see a friendly face that looks suspiciously like Steve but with darker hair, that's probably me. Be sure to say hello! I'd love to meet you, help you find the perfect watermelon, and maybe share a story or two about my little brother. 😉
