We are currently seeking a high-energy, creative individual to join our Seeds to Leader team as a Crew Lead.

You'll guide and work side-by-side with our youth crew on farm tasks such as planting, weeding, post-harvest handling, composting, and site maintence four days a week. Plus, help assist your team with scheduled events, programs and outreach activities.

If you have a passion for food justice and urban farming, and like getting your hands dirty, we encourage you to apply! Prior farming experience and familiarity with basic farming tools a plus, but not required.

Help shape food justice and support urban farming in our community!💚

We are looking for community members to join our Advisory Council! This position is open to community residents in 46205, 46219, and 46218, with priority given to those with experience in food justice, urban farming, or community organizing.

You will help guide our mission and help amplify local voices.
Council members will receive a $100 stipend per quarter for attending council meetings.

Plus, we will review proper tool cleaning, winter composting, and preparing your garden for spring.

Looking for an after school job that is hands on and builds leadership skills? We are now hiring for our Seeds To Leaders program!

Seeds to Leaders is a paid youth development program where youth ages 14–17 in Marion County manage urban farming plots, learning leadership, teamwork, and job skills through hands-on agriculture work. Crew members plant, harvest, and pack produce for distribution to the community while building real-world employability skills.

Come learn about seed saving and how to extend your growing season with us at the Henry Blair Garden! This is an in-person workshop covering season extension, seed saving from your crops, and crop rotation.

This session is being led by one of our youth and supported by a staff member. You can RSVP on our Eventbrite, but it's not required. Show up willing to learn and get a first-hand look at our community garden.
