Chickadee Gardens

Chickadee Gardens Laura Recendez and son Milo live close to the earth and are passionate about growing gardens and building community through love, sharing, and empowerment.

Chickadee Gardens is a non-profit urban farm that seeks to empower Indianapolis' Far Eastside to take control of their food production to ensure food security through education and building community. Farm Manager Nick Milan and Program Director Laura Dubish grow beyond organic produce, and raise chickens and dairy goats. They also run an educational outreach series for community members to learn more about home food production and nutrition.
