It’s a sunny day HELLO from Mad Farmers. We’re still here, and SO ready to grow this spring. As I watch these plants germinate from seed and the native perennials wake up from a winter sleep, it strikes me what a different world they emerge into than the one in which they dropped their seed last summer or went dormant in as daylight waned last fall. Do they know how different it is? I’m not sure, but I know we do. We know it, see it, and feel it.
While gardening alone would be an inadequate response to the challenges in the world around us, we sure do feel the urge more strongly than ever to create beautiful spaces, grow good food for our families, and share our skills. If you do too, let’s make it happen.
We invite you to take a peek at our updated website and sign up for our newsletter. There you will find a preview of plants we’re growing in the nursery this spring and all of our spring pay-what-you-can gardening classes.
We’re looking forward to growing with you this season.
