Nucs—update all gone

I have several 5 frame nucs available for $175 each. Pickup only. They are new queens grafted this year from a honey producing colony. They will be in a cardboard nuc box ready to take home. What I don’t sell in the next several days I will install in my own equipment as they are very full of bees and resources.

Nice swarm on Tuesday. Found a queen and got them started in a new colony.

First honey harvest of 2026 on Saturday. Earliest we’ve been able to pull honey. Just about 30 # but the bees look great as long as the weather holds out.

I will have about 5-10 queen cells and/or virgin queens available this weekend $10 each. Grafted from overwintered queen that has gentle characteristics and is putting on lots of honey this spring.

Bee school XXIV Been my pleasure to teach the beginning beekeeping class for the last 18 years. Caught a few of them returning from break but we have about 75-80 brand new beekeepers chomping at the bit to get started!
