Welcome to Scotch4Dummies! We are a group of 4 guys that are exploring the world of Scotch whisky. We are not professional distillers or tied to any distillery.

We are a project manager, a chef, a biochemical engineer and a software developer, but we all like scotch. This site is devoted to providing information to scotch drinkers who have ever been standing in the scotch isle at any liquor store and thought “Do I want to spend $ # # # to try a new bottle? If I could get some advice if this suits the style I am looking for, that would be great!”

This American Single Malt single cask was selected by the Scotch 4 Dummies team and our Patreons on September 26, 2025.

It features peated malt that spent its first years in Cedar Ridge ex-bourbon barrels, then received a beautiful finish in an Apricot Brandy cask.

Mashbill is 33 percent Bairds Heavily Peated Malt and 67 percent 2 Row Pale Malted Barley.

Bottled at true cask strength at 123.6 proof. We cannot wait for you to try this one-of-a-kind single cask.

123.6 proof. 61.80 percent ABV. 750 ML.
