Our Sweet Big Momma gave birth this week to twin rams. 💙💙

We don’t mean to have a favorite sheep. But this lady is so friendly and loves to be pet. When we first got the sheep, I was so excited because they said sheep don’t act like goats. I have not been head bunted, but this sweet sheep BIT me for pets one day. 🤣

When we left the Army and Adam told me he wanted to own a farm, I didn’t know what to expect. I thought cattle, hay, and a tractor. Chickens in a Pinterest worthy chicken coop and clean little girls running around in sandals….
Well, we didn’t do cattle and have you seen the price of a tractor? 🤯 My baby girl has an diaper tan line and very dirty little feet at the end of the day. Her big sisters often look like they live in the nearby forest.

Also, the chickens think my front porch is the coop… I get the privilege of shooing them away every morning so we don’t have to navigate a chicken minefield to leave our front door. That’s definitely not in the Pinterest photos. 😳

But, I truly love it here on this farm. I’m so glad we found Dorper sheep and get to love on the little lambs as they come. Our flock grew by two sweet little girls this week. And I wish you could hear the squeal of joy our youngest daughter gives when she gets to touch the sheep.

P.S. Girls, find a giant, bearded man who wants to farm. Life is always hard, but it will be good with him on your side. At least that's been my experience. 💗
