Simple ingredients.
Fresh peppers and tomatoes from the kitchen.
A house smelling like garlic, bacon, and Sunday supper.

Behind Dbl D Bar Ranch is a family deeply committed to the Beefmaster breed and the future of the cattle industry.

Doyle and Dorothy Sanders, along with their daughter Sunnie Sidera, have spent years actively serving within Beefmaster Breeders United and supporting the growth of the breed at home and abroad.

In 2009, Doyle was elected by his peers to the BBU Board of Directors. Doyle and Dorothy have also served on multiple committees within BBU and AABI, the European Beefmaster Association based in Rome, Italy.

Their leadership has extended internationally through participation in USDA foreign agriculture summits in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

At Dbl D Bar Ranch, our cattle program is backed by decades of experience, service, and hands on dedication to the breed.

That is why we proudly support youth programs like the Junior Beefmaster Breeders Association and invest in opportunities that help young people grow in the cattle industry.

For years, we have sponsored educational events, hosted field days, and welcomed families and students to learn hands on about Beefmaster cattle, ranching, and responsible stewardship.

Our commitment to the breed goes beyond our fences, with Beefmaster symposiums hosted not only here at the ranch, but internationally in Thailand and Europe.

Established in 1997 on 250 acres in Industry, Texas, we focus on raising high performance purebred Beefmasters that meet the Six Essentials the breed was founded on:

Through proven bloodlines, careful selection, natural breeding, and advanced genetics, we work to produce cattle that add value for both purebred and commercial operations.

There’s a kind of beauty out here that never asks for attention.

Strong backs. Soft eyes. Good bone. Good feet. The kind of cattle you can stand behind and study for a while.

This is the season of watching. Of planning. Of trusting the decisions made months ago.

Calving season is still ahead, but the story has already started. It starts in pastures like this. In cows built the right way. In a cycle we’ll never get tired of being part of.

There’s nothing ordinary about raising cattle when you slow down long enough to really see them.
