Our scene here at the farm is changing.. caterpillar tunnels are all takin down and waiting for them to be picked up! .. we also harvested some this morning! Carrots!🥕 🥕🥕🥕.. orders will be delivered tomorrow! No market in Wichita this week.. hoping for the next Saturday!! And … thank you all for the kindness, the empathy, the support!! It’s brought us to tears many times .. it’s hard leavin such good customers like you!

What a beautiful evening! Cool breeze blowin and a few clouds sure wish they could bring us come rain!! .. we are harvesting for market and orders starting tomorrow.. some of the crops are struggling with herbicide damage and the heat. But some crops are pulling right along and doin good! Seems like we can’t get thru a season without the nasty damage. The lettuce does not like it! But the crop this week does look good so we are slowly pullin out of it! If your comin to Old Town Farm & Art Market for lettuce you have to get there early! The table has been cleaned off at 10 am the last 2 weeks!! We can’t say how much the support from Wichita and all the orders from our online store mean!! You guys show support like non other!! Love it!!😍 the heat has took a toll on the farmers also but we are chugging along hoping for some cooler temperatures soon- at least not 105 !! See ya on your porch with your delivery order or in Wichita on Saturday- come before 10 😉 and yes we will have lots of carrots and lettuce!! 😎

The farm has been busy .. all 4 of our milk cows have had their calves!! It’s been exciting but .. well exhausting at the same time! Some of them have been bottle fed so Troy’s been up in the night a few times! And then something’s just don’t go as planned and do not end up how you wish! But all 4 calves are healthy and doing well! Our kids have been havin a pile of fun with them! 😉 I think we have all 4 of them named now 🤣. .. ❤️
