🚨 Please take a moment 🚨

PLEASE NOTE: the negativity was not by the other restaurant in question, rather by a vocal few individuals. PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ALL OF OUR NEIGHBORS. Read on…

Hi friends, shortly after we announced that we’re doing crepes on Thursdays (only on Thursdays and only during our day time menu), we started getting a lot of negative comments. We feel that we need to address this, first and foremost we are in no way trying to hurt any other business. There is no malicious intent. We’ve been making crepes at our various shops for 7 years. This isn’t anything new. Our crepes are very different from other crepes in the area. They are an Eastern European style crepe, rather than a French crepe. These crepes are a staple of our culture, so much so that we actually have a holiday that is celebrated by making and eating crepes, they are something that is regularly found on Slavic tables. We’re not imitating, we’re offering a staple dish of our culture. We believe that supporting ALL of our neighborhood businesses is paramount and never thought that offering a special, one day a week would evoke this much negativity. We continue to welcome everyone to Cafe on a Main and encourage everyone to visit all of our neighbors.

Have a good night.
