Farmers Market is TOMORROW from 4-7pm located at CountryMen BBQ, 24 W Commercial St in Inola.

Come shop all the local vendors and all their goodies! We’ve got several new people coming out and all your regular favorites too!

The weather is going to be BEAUTIFUL and actually feel like fall, I’m very much looking forward to it! Countrymen BBQ will be serving their regular BBQ menu also.

All the pumpkin vines have been ripped out, the w**d fabric rolled up (the worst) and the cover crop has been planted!

I REALLY want to eliminate having to use the w**d fabric for next season, it is such a PAIN to put down/take up each season. It’s one of my most hated jobs.

Anyways, I’ve seen other pumpkin farmers plant winter rye in the fall, and then come planting season, it gets laid over and you can plant directly into it, where the long rye grass actually works as a w**d barrier instead.

Will it work? Idk 😂 but I’ll try anything! So here’s to experimenting and here’s a pic of my baby rye grass popping up. Happy Monday and Fall Break y’all!

WELL, that’s a wrap on pumpkin season!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to the stand and took some pumpkins home! I truly appreciate every single one of you who stopped by, supported my little farm, and helped me find homes for all those pumpkins!

I hope your porches are decorated and your fall vibes are as good as they can be in this 90° weather 😆

It was a successful pumpkin season, and I couldn’t have done it without y’all! Now if you need me, I’ll be over here recovering from pumpkin season and attempting to get my mind right to plants thousands of plants here in just a few weeks 😅

Thanks again for shopping small and supporting me + the farm. Y’all are the true MVPs

Pumpkins are out - let the Hunger Games begin!

This is the last of the pumpkins and they’re all 50% off the sticker price!! Each pumpkin has their own individual sticker, so you can see the price of each.

Stand is self serve and I take cash, CashApp, PayPal + Venmo! It’s located at 24 W Commercial St in Inola, right in front of CountryMen BBQ. Once the pumpkins are gone, they’re gone for the season!

Thought I’d give y’all a Kevin update since it’s been a hot minute. 🦚

He’s still just as beautiful and majestic as ever! I’d say he’s kinda sorta learned from his mistakes. IYKYK. If you don’t, long story short, the man decided he wanted to move out, and I had to chase him ON FOOT all over the county to bring him back and save him from being coyote food.

Not on my watch.

Kevin still hops over the fence, but I think we both experienced some trauma from that little adventure because he doesn’t stray too far anymore. He does, however, enjoy getting out in the road and playing chicken with passing cars, so I’m convinced he’s also an adrenaline ju**ie with absolutely ZERO regard for his own life or my blood pressure.

All that to say, he’s thriving, looking gorgeous, and we’re getting along! Anyways, please keep Kevin in your thoughts and prayers. Not because he’s sick or anything, but because he has the survival instincts of a decorative throw pillow.

PS - come on out to the farm stand tomorrow for HALF OFF pumpkins!

Remember when I said last Saturday was the last time I’d set my pumpkins out? About that, I’ve changed my mind 🤣

I’ve got one small load left that I can set out because, quite frankly, I just cannot bring myself to toss 50 perfectly good pumpkins to the chickens after all the blood, sweat and tears that went into growing them!

SOOO… I’m setting out the LAST batch of pumpkins this Saturday, and they’ll be HALF OFF the sticker price!

And I’m serious this time. THIS. IS. ACTUALLY. THE. LAST. TIME.

So come on out to the farm stand Saturday and snag yourself some cheap pumpkins before they officially become chicken snacks!

Mark your calendars - the next fall Farmers Market is happening Saturday, October 17th from 4-7pm!

We will have several local vendors set up shop out on our turf/patio area at Countrymen BBQ. We had such a great turn out for the first one and are looking forward to doing this again!

CountryMen BBQ will be serving their regular BBQ menu, so come eat, shop around and support local!!

Tag your friends and bring them out! This is always such a fun event!
