We bring our believes into our kitchen at De Food Truck and make sure we only use good, safe, traceable ingredients in order to provide a wholesome meal that has been carefully prepared with love. All fish we buy is sustainably wild caught and we try and make sure our meats are as local as possible. We care about what we cook, we care about our wonderful community and are very grateful for their support! ALLERGY SAFE
Here at De Food Truck we care about allergies and dietary food choices alike. Our kitchen is 101% Gluten Free. We fry in Canola oil to avoid SOY. We have a fryer dedicated for our fries and falafel in order to make sure vegans can eat guilt free too. Talk to us about your needs and we will always to everything we can to provide you a good, safe meal.

That's right, we built TWO picnic tables and picked up a beautiful blue tent. Between the tent, the tables, and the smell of food, you practically need sunglasses to look directly at us. You definitely can't miss us now!

The Pulled Korean Beef is hot, fresh, and ready to disappear at record speed. And if your fishing rod has been practicing social distancing from the fish lately... don't worry, we've got that delicious Walleye waiting for you here instead. 🎣🐟🚨 BIG NEWS FROM DE FOOD TRUCK! 🚨

🌞 Starting the week off strong at De Food Truck! 🌞

Well folks, you sure showed up hungry today! The Korean Beef Special was such a hit that you cleaned us out in just one day. 😲🔥

The good news? Another batch is almost ready and will be back on the menu by 1:00 PM today!

We can't thank everyone enough for the support. It's been great seeing so many new faces stopping by, and even better seeing our regular friends coming back again and again. You all are what keeps us fired up every day. ❤️

And speaking of things looking good, Ellen's Corners is getting a fresh new look with that beautiful asphalt. While their parking lot is under construction, swing on over to the Mesick Roundabout and let us take care of lunch (or dinner)!

If there was ever a day to be outside, this is it! Grab the family, take a drive, and swing through the Mesick Roundabout where we're fired up and ready to feed the masses!

🔥 Our famous Korean Pulled Beef is hot and ready. 🐟 We've also stocked up on a TON of Cod because we know how much you all love it. 😎 Great weather, great food, and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy this beautiful day.

We'd also like to give a very special thank you to the Fletchall/Barber family. It was truly an honor for De Food Truck to be part of your wedding celebration yesterday. The ceremony at was absolutely beautiful, and we couldn't have been happier to help celebrate such a special occasion.

🌞 Hey hey! What a beautiful day to skip cooking and let De Food Truck handle dinner!

Swing on through the Mesick roundabout and grab yourself some Pulled Korean Pork, our special of the week. It's packed with flavor and significantly easier than trying to explain to your family what's for dinner for the 14th time today.

A quick heads-up: Saturday, June 6th, De Food Truck will be taking the show on the road to cater a wedding. So if you stop by our usual spot, you'll just find an empty parking space and disappointment.

The good news? We'll be back bright and early Sunday, ready to sling your favorites and cure any weekend hunger emergencies.

We just want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who has come out to support De Food Truck during our first couple weeks open! The support has honestly been incredible, and we appreciate every single person who’s stopped by the Mesick roundabout for some food, laughs, and enough chicken nuggets to keep our fryer questioning its life choices 😂

Quick heads up for next weekend:
Saturday 6/6/2026 we will be in Mancelona catering a wedding, so De Food Truck will NOT be open in Mesick that day. Don’t worry though — we’ll be back Sunday with our normal hours and ready to feed the masses once again!

The weather people are saying we’re finally getting one of those beautiful sunny and warm Northern Michigan weeks…so naturally it’ll probably start at 48 degrees in the morning and somehow end with sunburns by dinner ☀️😂
