We live on a homestead and are very conscious about our food and diet at home. We bring our believes into our kitchen at De Food Truck and make sure we only use good, safe, traceable ingredients in order to provide a wholesome meal that has been carefully prepared with love. We try and buy everything we sell local to insure quality and to help support local businesses. All our meat and fish is high quality and comes from Honor Family Market in Honor MI. All fish we buy is sustainably wild caught and we try and make sure our meats are as local as possible. We care about what we cook, we care about our wonderful community and are very grateful for their support! ALLERGY SAFE
Here at De Food Truck we care about allergies and dietary food choices alike. Our kitchen is 101% Gluten Free. We fry in Canola oil to avoid SOY. We have a fryer dedicated for our fries and falafel in order to make sure vegans can eat guilt free too. This lamb has been slow-cooked until it practically forgot it was ever an animal. 😂 Tender, juicy, ridiculously flavorful, and piled over rice. It’s the kind of good that makes you mad you didn’t order two.

🚨 MESICK… TODAY’S THE DAY! 🚨

Well folks, the inevitable has arrived. 😢

Today, Friday 9/3, will be our LAST DAY in Mesick for the season.

Unfortunately, traffic has become less than substantial lately. 😂 School is back in session, summer is winding down, and apparently we need to go find a few more humans to feed! So, it’s time for De Food Truck to relocate for one final push of the season.

But before we roll out… THANK YOU, MESICK! ❤️

What an incredible summer you’ve given us. You supported us, laughed with us, ate an absolutely ridiculous amount of food, and made this little spot at the roundabout feel like home. We genuinely appreciate every single one of you who stopped by.

So let's CELEBRATE TODAY! 🎉

Peach Specials Are Here! 🍑🔥

WOW. What a turnout at TC Wh***ey! 🙌 We can't thank TC Wh***ey and EVERYONE who came out to support De Food Truck enough. You guys absolutely showed up, and we had an incredible time feeding you!

But we're not done with the peaches yet! 🍑

We're BACK at our regular spot in Mesick today, and if you haven't tried these specials yet… TODAY IS THE DAY. Once they're gone, they're gone!

🍑 Peachy Bourbon Pulled Pork — sweet, savory, smoky, and loaded with that peachy bourbon goodness.

🐟 Peach Ginger Glazed Walleye — crispy walleye finished with a sweet, tangy peach-ginger glaze.

Both specials are served over our marvelous citrus slaw, drizzled with a bourbon peach reduction, and finished with fresh cilantro, chives, and delicate microgreens. 🍑🌿

🍰 And don't forget the Peach Tres Leches — because apparently we decided peaches needed dessert too. 😍

DE FOOD TRUCK UPDATE 😂
So… apparently 3PM was a suggestion.
We were supposed to pack up and head out, but the community had other plans. The line is still going, people are hungry, and apparently we're not allowed to leave yet! 😂
So we're sticking around A LITTLE LONGER and continuing to feed everybody we can.
For all our Mesick friends who were counting on us today — I’m sorry! We’ll have to make it up to you tomorrow. ❤️

What an absolutely AMAZING response this week to De Food Truck! ❤️ You guys have been showing up, eating good, and helping us make some serious room in that cooler!

And today… we need just a little more help. 😏

We’re open TODAY (Saturday) until 9PM, so come grab your favorites and help us clear some cooler space because TOMORROW WE’RE TAKING PEACH TO TC WH***EY! 🍑🥃

We’ll be set up SUNDAY from NOON–3PM at TC Wh***ey as part of the TC W**e & Food Weekend, and we’ve got some seriously delicious peach-inspired specials planned:

We’re setting up for LUNCH TODAY at AcenTek, just down the road! 🍚🔥

And YES — the public is welcome! Come grab some De Food Truck goodness while we’re there. We’ll be serving up lunch and making sure nobody has to survive the workday on sad desk snacks. 😂
