Part-Time Retail Sales Associate

Wednesday–Friday & Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

D&D Meats is looking for a dependable, outgoing, hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate.

The ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, willing to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and understands the importance of being a respectful and dependable team member.

A successful candidate must:

* Be dependable and consistently arrive on time and ready to work
* Have a positive, professional attitude
* Be friendly and outgoing with customers
* Work well independently and as part of a team
* Communicate respectfully with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
* Be able to handle workplace concerns maturely and professionally
* Contribute to a positive, respectful, drama-free work environment
* Be willing to learn and accept direction
* Be detail-oriented and take pride in keeping the store clean and organized
* Have reliable transportation
* Be capable of working in a physically demanding environment involving continuous walking and standing
* Be capable of lifting 25 lbs. or more

Weekends and some holidays are required.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Starting pay: Based on experience.

What Does a Retail Sales Associate Do?

Retail Sales Associates work directly with customers and help maintain the overall appearance and organization of the store. Responsibilities include:

* Assisting customers and answering questions
* Helping customers locate merchandise
* Answering phones and taking orders
* Operating the cash register
* Restocking inventory throughout the shift
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization
* Performing general cleaning duties
* Providing friendly and professional customer service
* Working cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, mature, respectful, team-oriented, and willing to work. We value employees who communicate appropriately, leave personal conflicts at the door, and help create a workplace where everyone can work together respectfully.
