We have been busting our butts getting the exterior stained on our store front/farm stand before the weather really turns. Thanks to my ma who got the doors/windows stained and my hubby that got the solar power & electrical all wired and situated. That way I could concentrate getting the rest of the exterior stained. We did it and I love how it turned out! It's a spitting image of the house. Which we also finally finished the front porch this weekend! More pictures to come on that.
We are well on our way to our grand opening spring 2026. But we will be taking pre-orders starting the end of November. Just in time for the holidays!

We have been on the hunt for the perfect building that is to be our farm store/farm stand. Well, without further ado, it's here! We'll be working on finishing it out this fall/winter, but taking orders for our jams/jellies/fruit roll leather anytime.
We already have the electric put in and all the solar panels/batteries hooked up. So excited for more to come!

Another busy weekend in the books for Blue Gables. Hosting EVC team bonding was a blast. Despite low attendance those that took the time to come made beautiful dream catchers! They all did wonderfully. We are winding down on the first round of raspberries and peaches with the second wave likely end of August/early September!
We delivered an antique table back to its owner that we teamed up with Let's Laze It on. As well as, cleaning/restoration of EVCs awnings. All in all a great weekend!

While we are still cleaning up from the storm, we had a happy surprise Friday night/early Saturday morning. Ruby and Luna had their kidds! Ruby was first with twins, a girl and a boy, full toggenburg. Luna wasn't too far behind with her bouncing baby girl, a toggenburg/saanen cross. They are soo cute and adorable 😍. Luna's kid is like all of hers, big and stocky. Since she only had a singleton, we will have to start milking her much sooner then I wanted because she is such a heavy producer. Anyway, enjoy the baby goat pictures!!

We got hit pretty bad by the storm tonight. All animals and people are safe. Several trees down, Evaline's new platset destroyed, and several solar panels ripped out of the ground. That's just what we can see so far.

Getting the raspberry paths in order. Even our toddler pitched in moving the 5 yards. Next the trellis system.

Blue Gables Homestead Sweets & Treats studio/office is finally completed just over a week before Christmas. But seeing as daddy was over the road for Christmas we waited until today to celebrate anyway. This studio had been a project for years, taking a back seat to more pressing projects. This room got all new drywall, wiring, restructured the bay window to code as it wasn't, added baywindow bench, bricking and lighting, built-in desk and cupboard, all new windows, and refinished original flooring (after riping out glued down carpet and sraping adhesive off🤦‍♀️).
