Staying home for the Labor Day weekend? We're OPEN regular hours on the Labor Day holiday (Monday, Sept. 7). Stop in to go apple picking, stock up on items for your cookout, or grab an ice cold slushy or fresh-pressed bottle of juice.
Specials this week: Seeded watermelon SALE: Only $3 each. Our end-of-summer clearance BOGO tee shirt sale continues: Buy one tee shirt or tank top, get one of equal or lesser value free! Choose from men's or women's styles, mix or match -- get one for you & one for your boo -- stock up and save! And NEW this week: Fresh pressed juices made right here at the farm. Plus we should have fresh, locally-made cider in stock at the market in early to mid September. Please watch for updates!
Pick-your-own apples run every day that ripe apples are available. Please call the farm at 616-527-3630 for picking condition updates before you come out, as weather & demand determine how much ripe fruit is available in the orchard on a daily basis. Our dwarf apple trees are easy for kids to reach and pick from. Don't want to pick your own apples? We also have fresh-picked apples available at the market.
U-PICK apple prices:
Half bushel - $18
Peck - $10
Half peck - $6.50
Please stop at the market for directions to the orchard. Feel free to bring your own containers OR we sell heavy duty plastic half-bushel bags for $1 each and .50 cent peck size bags for apple picking.
U-pick apple varieties available this week:
- HONEYCRISP ("Honey-like" sweetness balanced by tartness and a great crisp, juicy texture).
- GALA (juicy, sweet & mild with hints of pear & vanilla).
- McINTOSH (juicy & aromatic, with a sweet-tart flavor).
- PINK LUSTER (tasty & crisp, nice sweet/tart balance, Honeycrisp/Gala cross, great for fresh eating or baking).

Pick-your-own raspberries and blackberries continue this week. U-pick price is $5.50 per pound for both. As always, call the farm at 616-527-3630 to double-check picking conditions before you come out, as weather and demand affect the daily volume of ripe fruit available in the berry patch. Please stop at the market for directions to the patch or to buy berry boxes if you aren't bringing your own containers.
