Wholesale Smoked Meats Our hours of operation revolve around the whitetail deer hunting seasons.

We are a family owned and operated custom smoked meat processor specializing in wild game processing. We are open by appointment beginning youth season. Our regular hours begin October 1st each year through April 1st or until we are finished processing. We have retail cases filled with a variety of smoked meats. We have hams, bacon, summer sausage, snack sticks, jerky, ring bologna, and hot dogs.

We also offer bbq products such as ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked pork loin. All of our products are processed in house. You may have seen us at local gun shows, trade shows, or the Iowa Whitetail Classic selling beef sticks and jerky. Please read carefully. Due to the increasing difficulty in disposing of hides and bones, Ohrt’s Smokehouse will NO LONGER be accepting WHOLE DEER CARCASSES from ANY season. Also, every year it is more of a challenge to find help to process whole carcasses. We WILL be accepting TRIM and QUARTERS as usual. NO rib cages. We will open October 1 with our regular hours. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.
