SNAP participants, have you heard of the Museums for All program?
Through Museums for All, households participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,300 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting your SNAP EBT card.

Here’s how it works:

✨ Visit a participating location any day during all normal operating hours. To plan your visit to the over 70 Michigan museums, planetariums, zoos, and more that participate in the program, visit https://museums4all.org/participating-museums/

✨ Bring your Bridge Card and some form of ID with you. Admission is $3 or less – many free – for up to four people per Bridge (EBT) Card.

✨ There’s no limit on number of visits – go to as many participating museums as you like, as many times as you like!

Are you currently participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or thinking of applying for SNAP benefits? Don't forget about reporting your medical expenses!

Did you know you may be eligible for additional SNAP benefits by reporting your medical expenses? When applying for SNAP, include all qualifying medical costs for any household members who are seniors or individuals with disabilities. These deductions can impact your benefit amount!

Here's what you need to know:

✅ Seniors or Individuals with Disabilities: Medical expenses for those ages 60 or older, and for household members with disabilities, can be included.

✅ Qualifying Medical Expenses: Include costs such as doctor visits, prescriptions, medical supplies, transportation to medical appointments, and more.

✅ Keep Records: Keep records of your medical expenses, including receipts and bills, to support your application if requested by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).

Remember to report your medical expenses even if you currently receive SNAP benefits. It is essential to ensure you receive the full benefits amount you may be eligible for. SNAP Outreach at Food Bank Council of Michigan
