You can now find Joanna's Premium Tonic Syrups in Valley Junction, West Des Moines. It's a beautiful store, unlike any other. I was pleased to find Dos Hombres Mezcal Artesanal Joven while there, which is the best mezcal I've tried in the Smoky Desire cocktail at https://thisisjoannas.com/recipes/.

A self-professed foodie and entrepreneur, Joanna Mouming has spent more than a decade in the organic food industry and is well-versed in bringing new products to market, both in restaurants and grocery stores on a national level. When she began making her own gin and tonic from scratch, mixing natural ingredients in search of a cocktail that wasn’t overly sweet, she created Joanna’s Original Tonic Syrup.

Joanna, a New York native who has lived in Iowa for three decades, started the company by offering her hand-bottled tonic syrups exclusively at farmers’ markets and Iowa bars and restaurants. Today, the overwhelmingly positive response to Joanna’s tonic syrups has inspired her to expand operations.

Joanna’s is currently available in two distinct flavors: Original Tonic Syrup and Orange Fennel Tonic Syrup.
