September Nominations! 🍎🖍

The boys and some of Lane's friends decided to wear LT Farms Mix shirts again this year for pictures. I love that they are proud to represent their brand! Below are this year's pictures.

Nominate as many current, future or retired teachers, school cooks, principals, superintendents, secretaries, board members, bus drivers, maintenance, librarians, school nurses, counselors, daycare providers and coaches that have made a huge impact on your lives. Educators deserve so much and we want to show this small token of our appreciation by recognizing them this month. Nominate between today and Friday, September 18th.

We will draw 5 winners that will receive 4 bags of mix.

Exciting news! We have a new employee! 🎉

Brittlyn is joining us this school year through her work study program. She will be learning the ropes of LT Farms Snack mix business and the aspects of running a small business. My mom and I will tell you, hiring her is one of the best decisions the boys have made. Our busy season has started and we have no plans on slowing down, so having Brittlyn will be key for us this holiday season. She joins us during her school day while I am at work so I also want to give a huge thank you to my mom for taking the time to work side by side with Brittlyn and train her our LT Farms way. I know Carole has loved every minute of it! Brittlyn was even able to make her first few batches of mix last week. Although she will spend most of her time in our kitchen, you will also see her out and about making deliveries!

When Brittlyn isn’t busy working she enjoys spending time with her dog, Remy, her show cattle, running track and hanging out with friends and family. Her favorite flavor of LT Farms mix is Tyce’s Sweet and Salty Mix. (This will make Tyce happy to read.)

Fun Fact: Today is her birthday! Please give Brittlyn a warm welcome to our LT Farms family!

Because why wouldn’t I use ChatGTP to turn the boys into butter people?! The Iowa State Fair is celebrating 115 years of the butter cow, one of the most iconic features of the ISF. When I made this yesterday and showed Tyce, he just shook his head…I decided it was best not to show Lane ahead of this post. 🤣

It is the first weekend of the fair and it is nomination time for our August giveaway: Iowa State Fair style! 🎡 We would like to thank everyone for our last 4 years in business, so our August nomination giveaway includes: EVERYONE! Nominate anyone and everyone that you think would love an LT Farms bundle.

Four years ago our first month of accepting orders was centered around fair goers. The Iowa State Fair is a special place for our family. Both Lincoln and I’s families are 35+ year members of the Clearfield Lions Club (the volunteer organization that drives the shuttles from the campgrounds to the fairgrounds), Lincoln and I are 20+ year members of the club and the ISF is where we met!

Lane and Tyce will do some shopping at the fair to add to our giveaway. We will draw 5 winners that will receive 4 bags of LT Farms Mix and 2 Iowa made products sold at the Iowa State Fair.

Nomination time for our July giveaway! 🍀

It is fair time in Southwest Iowa and swine show day today for Lane and Tyce!

I love this month’s giveaway so it will be a repeat of the last couple of years. 4-H holds a special place in my heart. Growing up as a member of the Platte Peppy Pals 4-H Club I always looked forward to the Taylor County Fair. Ringgold County FFA meant a lot to Lincoln as he was an active member throughout high school. We now love being able to raise the boys as Ringgold Ranchers and members of Mount Ayr FFA. So for this month we decide to celebrate everything 4-H and FFA! Nominate your favorite current or past 4-H and FFA members, clover kid, teachers and leaders, board members, extension office employees, parents and more that make it all happen!

We will draw 5 winners who will each receive all 4 flavors of LT Farms Mix! Nominate between today and Wednesday, July 15th at noon.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there! It is definitely my favorite title. ❤️

We had a great day with both of our moms. I had planned on my mom and mother in law drawing our winners, however, we were enjoying our time together and I completely forgot! Late night drawing with Lane and Tyce instead. 🤗

I could not be more thankful for the two boys that made me a mom. Also, Lincoln and I are blessed with the best moms and we would not have LT Farms Mix without them. We are thankful to be able to do what we are doing, but we know that without them, we couldn’t.
