Sherri Ames passed away at the age of 60 on Friday, September 15 after fighting medical issues since 2019. We ask for your prayers for her family. Ames Family Farm is currently in hiatus until we can determine what the future status of the farm will be. Thank you all for your support.

Our peeps were here for spring break, we survived my birthday, tornadoes, running around & Easter weekend!

The wife and I worked on the top of the brooder box today. Everything is done but the two doors. And I need to build some roosting bars. Hopefully tomorrow this will be done and the chicks will have a enough space to grow until time to go outside. Size will be 8 feet long, 4 feet wide, and 3 feet tall.

Did this a couple of days ago. Got the nesting boxes raised up. Have room for one more on the shelf and room underneath if needed.
