Did you know that in addition to Appleton Farms, the Trustees has protected over 12,000 acres of farmland and community gardens across the state of Massachusetts? The Trustees is committed to farming in ways that produces high quality food locally while preserving biodiversity and native species habitat, mitigating climate change, building healthy soils, and ensuring that our farmland is even healthier for the next generations. But we can't do it without your support!

One way to help protect these important landscapes is by becoming a member of our Meat CSA. The summer meat CSA includes 3 pickups of 15lbs of grass-feed and pasture raised meat, that is not only a delicious and healthy way to fill your table, but is an important part of helping the Trustees maintain these farmlands.

Shop (and eat!) with purpose by purchasing a Summer Meat share today, as orders close on July 1st.

🗣Hint! It will also make a great Father's Day Gift!

What is one of the best parts of 1,000 acres of uninterrupted land? The Stars! ✨
Since we close at Sunset daily, it's not often that the public gets to partake in witnessing the beauty of the Appleton night sky.

Join us for this special opportunity to star gaze on the farm with the North Shore Astronomy Club. Club members will bring telescopes and expertise to help us explore and view the dark sky from our farm fields near our farm store. Bring your binoculars, scopes, star‑finding apps, and curiosity!

Pasture Update!
Two sheep and a goat are hard at work helping us to maintain the Prince of Wales West pasture off of Waldingfield Rd. by grazing so we can minimize mechanical impact on this field. We are giving this field a rest from haying this season to support the soil health for future growth. These animals will help bolster that process! They will rotationally graze in this area for the season. Signage is placed along the trail to notify all visitors and equestrians approaching this area. For their safety, the net fencing is electrified, so feel free to enjoy their beauty, but don't touch the fence, and remember to stay on marked trails. 🚶🏾‍♀️
