We are fully stocked and there are even eggs in the fridge!! Did you see our new little farm stand addition?!??! It’s so cute and perfect and right next to the main stand to help get things up and easier to reach and out of the sun. We have really battled the sun and the heat the last few weeks and it’s been hard. But hopefully this week we will see those temps start to drop a little and it will help things keep better! The $5 watermelons are back!! And we have only two larger ones for $6. We have small cukes, green peppers, celery, Roma tomatoes, small tomatoes and grape tomatoes! And lots of the big huge sandwich slicers! Zucchini are bigger this week and the summer squash are nice! Everything you need for a nice veggies stir fry or soup! Fall stuff is starting to come in and there are some nice big cabbages and butter nut squash and sweet and red onions on the rack. We are located at 1751 Kennerly road Irmo sc. right in the front parking lot of Searsport rug hooking! The farm stand is open Dawn to dusk 7 days a week the fabric shop is open 10-4 Thursday through Saturday.

Fill a bags are back in stock! We have gone with a med size and we invite you to pick and choose among all the produce to fill the bag to the top of the bag, please be reasonable 😉 and pay a flat rate of $7 it doesn’t not include any of the already bagged items or cheeses or eggs. The girls were happy with the culls from the stand this am! Anything that’s not sellable and past our use goes to Kenny and the hens. It’s helps keep our cost down by reducing waste and keeps egg production up and gives them yummy treats too! 1751 Kennerly road, Irmo.

We are back from our big event in down town Columbia and the farm stand is back open and fully stocked! We hosted nearly 400 rug hookers and 25 vendors from all over the USA. Classes, demos and a rug show that’s been a year in the making is finally over! Now to settle into a more quite life lol stop in and see us in the front parking lot of Searsport Rug Hooking at the round an about on the Kennerly road in Irmo. Huge tomatoes, fresh sweet corn, little potatoes, sweet potatoes, cukes, zucchini and summer squash so many fresh healthy choices waiting for you at Veggies at The Round-A-Bout

The Farm stand is all stocked for the morning! The corn is super good, there’s 4 dozen eggs as of 7:05 they won’t last long though! The blackberries, blueberries, plums and peaches are perfectly ripe and great for fruit salad or in pancakes or waffles! Or a simple tart for desert! There’s a few big firm green tomatoes and tons of ripe ones! Have you tried chunking up red onions, cukes and tomatoes with some feta cheese and tossing in a simple dressing of olive oils and balsamic vinegar? Add some fresh basil and there’s your salad! Roasted sweet potatoes or tiny red potatoes boiled in salt water makes a great side or slice and mix with a sweet onion with salt, pepper and butter in foil and toss on the grill! And of these are great with steamed corn and your burgers! And don’t forget big cold slices of watermelon!!! Please note to help combat the heat we are constantly stocking the stand rather than loading it up. We will post when the blackberries and corn is sold out.
