It’s been a terrible mushroom year locally, but the rain this week has certainly made our lives easier! Ophelia and I are picking for the market and bub is busy thumping the shiitake logs. Thank you all for supporting our family farm.

Gino and Sarah Vendetti from Stag farms will be selling our mushrooms for us this weekend at the Iron Mountain Downtown Farmers & Artisans Market. So be sure to stop at their booth, grab some syrup, honey and delicious fungi! We will not be in attendance due to family business but will be back to normal next weekend.

Due to the smoky and unhealthy / hazardous weather conditions forecast for tomorrow (July 18), the Iron Mountain Farmers & Artisans Market is CANCELED. The weather forecast calls for more smoky conditions on Saturday, similar to the past few days. We wanted everyone to know as soon as we were certain weather conditions are unsafe for conducting the Market outdoors.

Hopefully the smoke clears and we'll see everyone next Saturday July 25!

America turns 250, so we’re selling Winecap mushrooms for 2.50$ a 1/4 lb, 5$ a half and 10$ a whole this Saturday July 4th from 8am until noon at the Iron Mountain Downtown Farmers & Artisans Market
