Despite Mother Nature attempts to let winter linger, we’ve just finished our first batch of syrup. We netted a little over 5 gallons of crystal clear, golden, super sweet syrup! As soon as our labels are in, we’ll have some for sale. Lots of changes this year... more pics and bids coming soon 😎

Some of the improvements for 2016. We tapped on March 4th this year. Sap ran good for a couple days then shut off. We were able to collect 225 gallons and run a batch. Sap is once again running good and we are cooking out second batch of 325 gallons.

Well, even though our syrup looks better than ever and tastes soooo good, we only took third place at the Iron County Fair. Not bad considering there were at least 10 entries. Wish I knew the scoring criteria.

Kicking off the 2015 season a bit early thanks to unseasonably warm weather. Trails had to be cut in this year because the snow is so deep (thanks Scott Westphal). Tapping today.
