First look at one of our MANY bee yards this season. This is our home yard. You can see each family member has decorated a hive of their own. The larger boxes at the bottom with names are where the bees live, the smaller boxes above them are called honey supers and that's where all the honey is made and stored. Each time the bees fill a super with honey, we add another on top so they can keep on making more. Each super contains 9 frames of honey! i.e. We are gearing up for a LARGE honey harvest this year!
