Heading to a Summer BBQ, going fishing, just making dinner?
Meet our line-up from Blackrocks Brewery brewed in Marquette Mi! That's right our very own UP beer💛

Blackrocks Brewery has something for everyone here are some descriptions of just a few of their amazing beers!

Honey Lav-This is our summer seasonal beer. An American Wheat brewed with Michigan honey and full lavender flowers. A Fresh and flavorful ale with a great balance between the floral lavender and sweet honey.

Super Deluxe - A Traditional German Style Helles Lager. A Crisp beer with a satisfying mouthfeel, bready malt character and a bright hop finish.

The Porch Cat - a Pale Ale brewed with 100% Nectaron hops, providing wonderful aromas and flavors of passionfruit, guava, peach, and pineapple.

Grand Rabbits - This is our crisp, refreshing, get stuff done beer. Willamette hops add lemon/orange flavors that sit on top of the grainy sweetness leading in to a snappy, dry finish.

Don’t miss out on the delicious peppers hidden in this box! Meet the Shish*to pepper💚 a mild and slightly sweet pepper with a smoky flavor once they’re blistered.

Sorry (not sorry 🤭) they were so good I forgot to take a picture after they were cooked!

This is how I prepared them.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
Toss the peppers in sesame oil ✨pop the peppers onto a baking sheet sprinkle with a pinch of salt🧂. Then roast in the oven for 6 minutes, or until peppers are blistered and puffy.

While the peppers are blistering small bowl, mix together, minced garlic, soy sauce, a dash of chili 🌶️ oil , and a bit of honey🍯.

Remove peppers from the oven place in a pan with the sauce on high heat for two minutes keep the peppers moving, mixing and tossing the entire time!

Now your ready to dive in! Serve as a salty starter or over rice with grilled meats or fried tofu!

Looking for a simpler way to serve them?

Start the same way by blistering the peppers using a more neutral oil such as avocado or olive. Then toss in lemon juice and zest and finish with a bit of cotija cheese!

Our nearest intersection of Suffolk and Aurora is closed during the construction 🚧

We have convenient parking in the public parking lot right behind the co-op! The parking lot entrance is on Ayer then simply use the alleyway for the most direct route. Just look for the big beautiful mural!

Need a little something quick, are a senior, have small children, or limited mobility at this time you can still park in front of the co-op on our block, spaces are limited.

Need a little help getting those groceries to the public lot? Don’t worry! We have a wagon to help haul your groceries!

Round your purchase up for a good cause!

As many of you know we are no longer able to get pennies at the bank for change.

We ask ourselves what we should do. 🤔 We came up with a plan!

When it’s necessary to round a purchase we will give you the option to round up for charity! No matter if it’s a few pennies to the nearest five cents 🪙 or a bit more to get to the nearest 💵 dollar your pennies will go to help others.
