2021 Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon | Rutherford, Napa Valley California 750ml
Morisoli Vineyard features one hundred percent estate grown fruit, focused on expressing the land and vintage characteristics while remaining true to the grape. Our winemaker creates classically styled and restrained wines with a modern refinement. The resulting wines are exceptionally age-worthy with a strong sense of place.
After a picture-perfect growing season the grapes were harvested, destemmed, and received 3 days of cold soaking to gently extract color from the skins. The must in the tank was then inoculated with yeast and received 2 to 3 pump overs a day during a total of 20 days of maceration. After draining and pressing, the wine displayed beautiful dark color and pinpoint intensity. Barrel aging lasted for 27 months in 70% new French oak barrels from Maury and Seguin Moreau. The wine is powerful, with firm tannins with seamless integration adding to the wine's depth and richness. Ripe black cherry and cassis with a hint of savory herbs and mocha give way to a lasting finish allowing for decades of exceptional aging. 180 cases produced. | Morisoli Vineyard

2024 Littorai Pinot Noir | Sonoma Coast California 750ml

All of the sources for our Sonoma Coast regional bottling are all exceptional sites worthy of vineyard designation in their own right. 36% of the final blend comes from Richardson Ranch in Anapolis on the northern end of the Sonoma Coast, 10% is from Balinard Vineyard in the western hills of Sebastopol. 33% is sourced from press wines of vineyard designate lots: Hirsch, Mays Canyon, The Pivot, The Haven and Thieriot vineyards.
Our regional Sonoma Coast is intended for consumption in the first few years after bottling. While it can, and often does, improve in the bottle, it is not intended for long term aging and we encourage you to enjoy it while young. While it will improve in the months after release, it provides real pleasure immediately.
An already very expressive wine with aromas of pomegranate, Bing cherry, alpine strawberries, rose petal, citrus, fresh herbs, and graphite. On the palate, the attack is rich and mouthcoating, yet fine tannins and vibrant acidity carry through to a persistent, long, and understated finish. Located on the river bench of Sonoma County's Russian River Valley, this hillside vineyard benefits from ideal conditions for the Chardonnay vines. The cuttings came from Old Wente, and the field selection is renowned for its excellent quality and richness. This concentration originates from the typical petite size of the berries. Handcrafted using classical Burgundian winemaking techniques, this wine is dedicated to our daughter, Claire Morlet.

Among California’s most revered and elusive wineries, Marcassin Vineyard occupies a singular place in the world of fine wine. Founded in 1991 by acclaimed winemaker Helen Turley and her husband, viticulturist John Wetlaufer, Marcassin has become one of the defining producers of California Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The winery’s name, French for “young wild boar,” was inspired by a wild pig roast the couple attended in the early 1980s, a fitting emblem for a project born from bold vision and independence. Since its first release, Marcassin has captivated collectors and critics alike, earning a reputation as one of California’s most iconic cult estates.

The story of Marcassin is inseparable from Helen Turley’s remarkable rise in California wine. Raised in Georgia and educated in chemistry and biology at Cornell University, Turley brought a scientific precision to winemaking that helped reshape the California landscape.
