The wait is over — Day 1 of the Crab Carnival is HERE, and The Salty Lemon is officially in a Crab State of Mind! 🦀😎

We’ll be squeezing up fresh lemonade & limeade while you enjoy all the food, rides, vendors, and carnival fun! Come find us, say hello, and grab something cold and refreshing! 🍋🥤

And of course, we couldn’t start Carnival weekend without one more CRAB FACT! 🦀💡 Crabs have compound eyes that help them see in many directions at once, making it easier to spot food, predators, and movement around them. 👀

Talk about a comeback! Did you know that **crabs can regrow a lost claw? 🤯 It may start out a little smaller, but with future molts, it can grow back toward full size!

We’re having way too much fun getting into a Crab State of Mind as we count down to The Crab Carnival! 🦀🎡🍋

Here’s another fun fact as we get closer to The Crab Carnival!

Did you know a crab’s hard outer shell is called an exoskeleton? 🦀 As a crab grows, its shell doesn’t grow with it—so it has to molt, or shed its old shell, and grow a brand-new, bigger one! 🤯

Pretty cool, right?!

The Wandering Raven will be closed this Friday, October 2nd, and unfortunately, we will not be at Crab Carnival this year. Hopefully, we’ll be able to join the fun next year! 🎃

However, you can still find me out and about working with Salty Lemon 🍋 on 7th Street!
