BIG UPDATE

A few weeks ago, we shared that we were looking at the possibility of selling the shop and closing this chapter. Since then, we’ve had a lot of time to think about what that really meant. We’ve talked to many of our customers, friends and those we trust. We’ve talked to a few potential buyers and nothing felt “right”.

The truth is, we were having a hard time letting go of something we have poured our hearts and souls into for the last 2½ years. This little shop has become so much more than just a business to us. It’s the people we’ve met, the friendships we’ve made, the conversations we’ve shared, and the community that has been made here. It became a part of our lives—and walking away from that wasn’t as easy as we thought it might be.

So, for now, we’re not selling. Instead, we’re making some BIG changes and looking ahead to what the next chapter might look like.

You may notice a new face around the shop—Christian! We’re excited to have her joining us and becoming part of the team.

Christian has spent most of her life working in the restaurant business, both in employee roles and in management, so she brings a lot of experience and knowledge with her. She’ll be working alongside Tim, as well as spending time on the café side, learning the ins and outs of how everything works here. The thought is that, over time, she’ll learn the ropes and eventually take on a larger role in the business.

This feels like a good way for us to keep something we love while also allowing us to make some changes and find a little more balance moving forward. We’re excited to see where this next chapter takes us.

So, if you see Christian around, please say hello and welcome her! We’re excited for you all to get to know her. ❤️

And as always, thank you. Thank you for supporting us, for walking through our doors, for grabbing food at events, browsing the shop, having a meal, and for making this place what it is. We truly couldn’t have done the last 2½ years without you, and we’re excited to continue this journey together.
