Today is the day that I can announce to all my fellow mycophile's and mycologists ....
We'll friends and family I was discharged today from my 4th spinal fusion and it's great to be back!
It was a little rocky in the hospital but with all of your prayers, positive thoughts and true love for me in regards to my recovery...it feels like it surely has paid off.
PSA:
PLEASE THINK TWICE WHEN YOUR YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED WITH LIFE before getting on a motorcycle in any populated city!
This impulsivity of mine changed the trajectory of the path I have created the 25 years prior.
We all think about what we want to be when we grow up(and I knew since I was I would be a doctor or a nurse...and nurse it was!)
I was able to finally accomplish many of my goals but DAMN it took 10x's longer as compared to others my age and also did it while miserably in pain and surgeries since 2007. Just PLEASE realize some of our choices can't be corrected, we can learn from them all but some are just completely irreversible.
🤪Well I'm in my zero gravity chair, grateful for Spirit guiding me through this and my family and friends supporting me always, especially when I have been ready to throw in the towel and push them all away, and call it a day(you know who you are) You have all encouraged me to keep pushing forward bc you know that is who I am! I love you all so very mucho!

Sooooo...I have had some health issues which have slowed me down, and unfortunately undergoing my 4th spinal major surgery next Thursday.
I wanted to show you all my strain I have grown from prints I took in Vermont last year. It's making this stage of health stuff a lot easier to deal with! The fruits of my labor(even if this Labor is one bag) I am happy to say this strain is called "VSP". We had an outing very very close to a Vermont State Park in NEK vermont. I'm so excited to have a couple clusters thus far. Now let's hope they taste yummy!

These are Colorado Elm oysters grown from Gary at Fresh from the Farm Fungi. i winterized them and they did well! i am experimenting with freezing certain strains. Due to the harsh Temperatures of North Eastern Vermont.
