🌭 Happy National Brat Day! 🌭

Around here, our brats look a little different. They’re made with 100% Angus beef! 🥩

A few things you may not know about our brats:

🌭 Bratwurst doesn’t have to mean pork! Brats can be made from different meats, which means the flavor and texture can change quite a bit depending on what’s inside.

🥩 Ours are made with 100% Angus beef, giving them that rich beef flavor you’ve come to know and love from Rosey-Future Angus.

🌭 Each brat is finished in an edible collagen casing, which helps it hold its shape while cooking and gives it that familiar brat “snap.”

Our beef brats come in four flavors:
🌭 Original
🧀 Cheddar
🌶️ Cheddar Jalapeño
🫑 Philly Cheesesteak

And you guys have been LOVING them this year! Due to high demand, Philly Cheesesteak is the only flavor we have left until next year. 🤍

Already thinking ahead? We do take pre-orders for our next batch of beef brats!

Happy National Brat Day from us here at Rosey-Future Angus! 🌭🥩

🌭 Come visit Farmer Adam & Claira at the Aitkin Farmer’s Market today! 🌭

We’re here until 1 PM with our freezers stocked with locally raised beef, lamb, chicken & goat! 🥩🤍

And National Brat Day came a day early! We teamed up with our friends at Righteous Oaks Farm LLC for a special beef + pork brat collaboration. Pick up a package of brats from BOTH farms today and you’ll get to choose a little bonus! ✨ Why choose between beef or pork when you can have both?!

🐾 Don’t forget the four-legged family members! We also have air-dried treats locally produced by Premier Pet Lodge using our farm-raised meats, and pets can’t get enough of them!

Come say hi to Farmer Adam & Claira, talk meat with us, and see what looks good for your freezer! 😊

✨👀 Remember that little collaboration we teased in our market announcement? The wait is over! ✨

National Brat Day is this Sunday, and we're celebrating a day early by teaming up with our fellow local farmers at Righteous Oaks Farm LLC for a little Bratsgiving fun at the Aitkin Farmer’s Market! 🥳

Here's how it works:

🌭 Grab a package of our Rosey-Future Angus all-beef brats

✨Pick up a package from each farm and pick out something extra! ✨

We absolutely love getting the chance to collaborate with another local farm, especially one that raises and sells meat right alongside us! Why choose between beef OR pork brats when you can have both?! National Brat Day seems like the perfect excuse to celebrate them together! 😂🌭

Plus, maybe you'll discover a new favorite while you're at it!

🐑💉 Not every farm issues requires a vet call 💉🐑

One thing we didn’t realize before becoming farmers was just how much animal health knowledge farmers pick up along the way.

When something isn't quite right, our first step usually isn't calling the vet to come out. Like a lot of other livestock farmers, there are plenty of things we're able to assess and treat right here on the farm! Over time, we’re able to learn our animals and their behavior, what to look for, how to administer medications and offer basic treatments, and you start to understand when something isn't right with our animals.

But knowing how to handle things yourself also means knowing when it’s time to take that next step and call our veterinarian.

Farming teaches you a little bit of everything, and animal care is a pretty big part of the job! 🐑🤍

🐱 For everyone wondering how many babies Harriet had…we have an answer! 🐱

Harriet had EIGHT kittens! 😳😂

If you guessed 7 from our earlier reel, you weren’t wrong, those are the seven currently running around the barn and nursing on mama, including FIVE precious little black cuties! 🖤

But there was actually one more…

This little guy somehow got left behind up in our hayloft, and he was determined to let us know he was there! 😂 After about three days of listening to him scream his little head off, Farmer Adam finally couldn’t take it anymore and brought him inside.

So everyone, meet Sheldon, the newest member of our inside kitty crew! 🤍🐱

And honestly, it didn't take long for this little guy to work his way into our hearts. He is one of the sweetest, friendliest and most vocal kittens we’ve ever met. He purrs SO loudly that we actually had to Google whether a kitten this little could purr like that. 😂🤍

And from the moment Farmer Claira met him, there was just something about him that reminded her of her soul kitty, Stevie, who passed away a couple years ago. 🥹 He even looks a little like him.

She tried really hard not to get attached when we still weren't sure whether Sheldon would be an inside or outside kitty…

That clearly worked out well. 😂🤍

Farmer Claira has also officially classified Sheldon’s coloring as a Tuxedo × Holstein cross, so clearly genetics remain a hot topic around the farm. 😂🐄🐱

🐑 When a customer sends you pictures like THIS you have to share! 🤤

Nicole stopped by our booth at the Aitkin Farmer’s Market this weekend and picked up a pound of ground lamb, and look what she created!

Later, these gorgeous pictures of Lamb Kofta showed up in our inbox, along with her verdict: “It was amazing!” ❤️

We absolutely LOVE seeing what you make with our meat, so keep those pictures coming!

And Nicole, we’ll be patiently waiting to see what you do with that pound of goat next! 😉😂

Apparently Harriet took “go big or go home” a little too seriously 😂🐱

We knew she had kittens, we just didn’t realize quite HOW many until we started counting little bodies running around the barn.

How many do you think she has? 👀

Hint: you can’t quite see all of them in this video! 🖤🤍
