After months of hard work, many early mornings, countless late nights, and caring for our animals, it’s incredibly rewarding to finally share these high-quality cuts with our community. 🤍

From flavorful steaks and hearty roasts to savory lamb cuts perfect for grilling or slow cooking, we’ve put together a full price list so you can browse all of our delicious options we’ll have available this year. We made a stop at the butcher early this morning to pick up our very first round of meat orders and we could not be more excited! 🥩🤍

This market season, we’ll be bringing a variety of local, farm fresh meat straight from our farm to your table at the Aitkin and Deerwood Farmer's Markets! Starting with some absolutely drool-worthy beef and lamb! 🐄🐑

There is truly nothing more rewarding than being able to share the food we work so hard to raise with our community. We will have more products rolling out as the season goes on, so be sure to follow along to see what we share!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the farm moms out there 🤍

Our animal mamas on the farm carry so much more than people tend to realize. They grow life, protect their babies, constantly feed them, teach them, call for them, search for them, chase them, and somehow still trust us to help care for them and their little ones they love so fiercely 🐮

We see the way our ewes softly talk to their lambs. The way a mama cow cleans her calf for the very first time. The way they stand protectively over their babies, gently nudge them close, and teach them how to exist in this big world.

There’s something so special about witnessing motherhood in the barnyard. It’s quiet, instinctual, gentle, and incredibly strong all at once.

Today we’re especially grateful for all of the hardworking moms who help make this farm possible every single day. Their patience, resilience, and endless devotion never go unnoticed here 💖

Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers of the farm, the ones raising the next generation, one tiny hoof at a time 🐑

No matter how busy things get, days like this are a good reminder to slow down for a second so we're able to appreciate the land, the quiet, and the little moments in between all of our hard work. We are so lucky to call this our home. 💖

🤍🐑 We were extremely blessed to welcome another sweet and healthy lamb onto our farm today! 🐑🤍

With that being said, farming always keeps us on our toes. This lamb's mama is part of our yearling group, and while her mama has been doing her absolute best, she hasn’t quite produced enough milk to fully support her lamb yet. It’s definitely not for lack of effort, this group of young ewes have been incredibly attentive, caring, and we know they’ll grow into wonderful mamas with a little more time.

But this year has been a bit unique for us. We had a small “oopsie” moment when this group of yearling girls found their way under the fence and met our ram a little earlier than initially planned. They are old enough for breeding, but since they are first-time, younger moms it means we’re stepping in to lend a hand with bottle feeding to help ensure everyone stays happy and healthy.

We’ve had a few people ask if this many bottle babies is typical for us during lambing season, normally, no. Our Katahdin/Dorper crosses are known for being fantastic, self-sufficient mothers, which is exactly why we chose them. This season has just been one of those reminders that no two years in farming are ever the same.

There’s always something unexpected, however that’s just farm life. You learn, you adapt, and you keep going and hit the next challenge head on 🤍🐑

We’d like to say we run this farm, but really it’s the bottle babies calling the shots...I mean you guys have met Rosemary and Georgie?! 🐄

🐃 Happy Sunday from these two gorgeous girls! 🐃

Every farmer loves to take a Sunday stroll around their property, admire the beauty of nature, especially as the seasons change! The green grass in the pasture starts to bud, and the impatient animals can't wait to get out to the lush green fields. 🌾

As we take our leisurely walks, we get to appreciate the finer things in life. Miss 987, or Curious Carrie, really wanted to be let out to pasture today, but she still has to give birth to her baby! We need to ensure that both her and her baby are safe and healthy before we can let the herd loose. Thankfully, she’s pretty easily convinced with head and back scratches! 🐮

It's a special time on the farm, filled with excitement and anticipation, and we're so thankful to be able to experience it all on this beautiful sunny Sunday! ☀️🤍
