Isleton Station is a name reflecting local history. Southern Pacific Railroad had an agricultural spur running thru Isleton next to my property until the 1970s.

Our initial site plan has been turned into the city for review by the Planning Commission! Took a while to find out what was required since the gatekeeper for the city doesn't really know and it isn't posted anywhere outside the depths of municipal code. Following step will be to reapply for water permit after this first step complete.

What is Isleton Station? Its purpose is to be a food forest that can survive heat and neglect for decades but to do that it needs extra water and care for its young roots. The food forest is scattered across these 6 acres but most notably in the front 20' bordering 6th Street giving beauty, the cooling effect of plant life, habitat for pollinators, and free snacks. Our install speed is dependent on a water permit, tractor health, and owner health. We are working on keeping all 3 categories fully functional.

If you would like to help support running water at Isleton Station please ask us questions and attend the Isleton Planning Commission meeting, either by Zoom or in person (6:30 first Tuesdays), to voice your support. We will post which date when the City staff finish their initial review and tell us.
