Harvesting on a cool morning after a few hot days is the best, it’s a wildcard of what the heat helped bloom and what the heat made angry! The dahlias and zinnias are absolutely loving it and the calendula is cranking. The snapdragons, sweet peas, and stock are a bit less happy about the heat, but their colors are still amazing.
The champion of the dahlia race is officially 20th Ave Delicata, our very first bloom of the season, with hundreds of other varieties right on its heels. Starting these dahlias indoors back in the spring completely paid off to get things moving early and I can’t wait to share more about my new studio addition that will help get more blooms sooner and some fun classes and create your own bouquet experience.
Swipe right to check out some of this morning’s favorite blooms.
We’d love to see you this week! Stop by the farm stand to grab some local blooms, or place an order for delivery. The sweet peas are smelling absolutely incredible right now, and we’re keeping our favorite tradition alive stop by the stand and you’ll get a free mini bunch of sweet peas with any purchase each day while supplies last!

Whats Blooming Friday update! We are officially jam packed today. Flowers are heading out the door for teacher appreciation, the farm stand, graduation, Newcastle Fruit & Produce Co. , and even a beautiful wedding. The farm absolutely loves events, and with the help of some amazing local flower friends, we can handle just about any bloom need while keeping it 100% local!
What’s Blooming Right Now:
• Early Summer Favorites: Snapdragons, stock, feverfew, lavender, and yarrow (which is absolutely cranking!).
• Textures like Love-in-a-mist, gibralter and a few final peonies hanging on.
• The calendula has been producing like crazy, which means our Calendula Balm will officially be back in stock next week!
Testing new flowers has become a huge passion of mine. Most of what is blooming right now actually started as an experiment last year, like the Fama and Gibraltar! We’re doing something similar right now by trialing Iris and Calla Lilies for a potential expansion next year.
Grab some fresh flowers, stay cool this weekend, and remember to keep those blooms cool, too!

Sometimes your son just wants to pelt you with flower petals because it’s fun, and you just have to go with it to celebrate a record breaking late spring peony season. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it such a massive success!
We always leave plenty of blooms for the bees because food is still a bit scarce this time of year, and we’ve been deadheading the younger plants to help them build up strength for next year. It means we get some beautiful color inside the house, but out in the yard, it mostly means happy pollinators and a kid having a blast.
Peonies are just about wrapped up, but the farm is just changing shifts, snapdragons, stock, and sweet peas are stepping up until the zinnias and dahlias are ready to absolutely steal the show.

I have a love hate relationship with ranunculus. They are the Goldilocks of the flower world. I’ve spent late nights running out with a headlamp after checking a surprise dip in temperatures fighting off a blackberry bush trying to tackle me in the dark just to get them covered so they don’t freeze. I’ve started them in the greenhouse and nurtured them every step of the way because if they freeze, they rot. If they get too wet, they rot. If it gets a little too warm, they just completely give up on life.
But when they bloom they just look so good, especially mixed in with peonies.
A huge thank you for such a massive weekend! It was so awesome seeing everyone grabbing local blooms and supporting all the other great small businesses around here.
The cart is restocked daily, and we are officially gearing up for a wild summer. We’ve got designer zinnias, sunflowers, over 250 dahlias, and some other really cool varieties in the ground right now that are absolutely soaking up this early summer heat. Oh, and the first pumpkin plants are already starting to pop up!

The picture truly doesn’t do justice to how pretty and incredible some of these smell. I am officially, 100% a peony person now. They are just so easy to love and beautiful year after year.

It’s rainy and gloomy out today, but the sun is on its way and I wanted to share this morning’s peony harvest including my very fashionable grundens overalls lol!
The peony party is here for the next week or so, and I cant wait to get these to everyone, they really brighten up a room for the few weeks a year they are around. The farm stand will be stocked daily, deliveries and subscriptions are heading out so grab these amazing beauties while you can because they only bloom for a couple weeks.
There’s still time to lock in your summer flower subscription. Delivery is now open for Issaquah, Renton, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Beacon Hill, and most of the Eastside. Head to the link in my bio, check the website, or just shoot me a message to sign up! Please tell a friend who could use a little floral brightness and flower joy in their life, too. Your referrals have helped build and grow this farm to something far exceeding my expectations!

Late May is so chaotic but honestly the best!
It’s that time where the alpacas get their yearly haircut so they can rock their summer beach bodies, and the peonies finally stop looking like green sticks and explode into total beauty.

Friday: I’ll have a few bouquets out on the cart while they last!
The Weekend: The cart will be closed, but our farm blooms will be exclusively at so stop by there to grab your weekend flowers and enjoy their amazing spring assortment.
Tuesday: The blooms are not stopping, so I’ll be restocking the farm cart to kickstart the work week.
Peony season is so short, so come grab some local bloom splendor before they are gone for the year!
P.S. If you want flowers coming your way all summer, make sure to sign up for the summer subscription. And for the dahlia fans quick update we already have almost 200 in the ground and growing with more to come. More updates soon!

Despite the gloomy weather this week, it’s officially peony season here in Issaquah. These beauties are finally waking up and I’m fully obsessed. I’ve been adding varieties as fast as I can over the last few years maybe a minor addiction lol, but I’m up to 25+ varieties and over 100 peonies now.
One of the coolest things about peonies is that they can actually outlive us, some of these bloom for over 100 years!
The very first stems are heading out to my spring subscribers this week for their final bouquets. I’ll have a few available at the farm stand for walk-ups later this week, but they’ll be limited for a few days. Availability at the stand will ramp up by next week as more of the garden starts to pop.
If you want to skip the “sold out” stress, there is still time to grab a summer subscription. I’m delivering far and wide across Issaquah now, and I’ve even added some special delivery options for Beacon Hill and the Eastside. It’s the best way to guarantee you get the top-tier blooms delivered or ready for pickup every week.
It’s hard to pick a favorite, but these early bloomers are looking incredible. Thanks for all the amazing support anytime you buy local you help support the future of local flower farmers. See you at the farm!
