Howdy Folks,

Since our announcement earlier this Fall, the team at The Gallery has been working hard to balance our mission to create a culinary-driven community space, featuring the best of our region, while offering meaningful work-life balance for our staff. To better serve both goals The Gallery is making a dramatic shift:

Donuts, and The Gallery as we know it, will be coming to an end. As we asked how to best serve our mission, we came to the unfortunate realization that donuts presented major limitations. But with this news, we have an exciting update.

Our Chef in Residence, Daniel Medina, will be assuming the use of the space under the banner and expanding his programming.

In this new direction expect more unique experiences and delicious foods than ever.
NorthFolk will continue to present its signature tasting menus on Friday and Saturday night.
Additionally, we can finally share a project we have been hoping to bring to life for some time: Noble Bird!

Noble Bird is an elevated take on fast casual featuring Chef Medina's take on Japanese fried chicken. We will be serving up more details and soft-open dates in the coming days.

For our donut lovers, there will be five final chances to enjoy The Gallery's offerings:

11/3; 5-8pm - First Friday Gallery Night featuring (limited menu)
11/4, 11, 18; 10am-4pm - Saturday Donuts
11/21; 3-7pm - Press Bay Holiday Food Market

We will have the new menu and preorders up later tonight - we are going out with some pretty special flavors.

As we approach the holiday season, we want to acknowledge the importance of family be it cognate or chosen. Through the Pop-ups, Gallery Nights, Festivals, Donut Saturdays, and even weddings we have made so many dear relationships with you, our community, that makes this announcement so bittersweet.

Thank you to everyone who has, and continues to, support our endeavors. It is the community that makes our space vibrant and your enthusiasm drives our team's passion to deliver the best experiences we can. We welcome everyone to join us as we bid farewell to The Gallery and support NorthFolk in its new evolution.

Scurry on over for our Halloween 🎃 special, The Spiders Nest! 🕷️ 🕸️

Our updated Spider's Nest donut is topped with our signature chocolate icing, marshmallow webs, and a cookie spider.

New Gallery Show Alert 🚨!!!

Embracing Latinx Heritage Month and the Autumnal Colors 🍂 we are proud to host 's show "Foraged Mineral Pigments of Colombia"!

The show highlights a range of styles united by a singular use of handmade pigments derived from clay and stone foraged in Popayan Cauca, Colombia using his family's traditional methods.

Apple Fest has come and gone which means it's time to update all you Donut Lovers about our plans for the Fall.

1) Breakfast is ending 10/13

Unfortunately, a key member of our team is moving on to a new project. We wish them the absolute best and can't wait to see their growth and next steps. However, this does mean our capacity is reduced and we will need to refocus our energies on our core programs - which is to say Donut Saturdays. This means breakfast will be coming to an end next week.

2) Saturdays will be "Until Sold Out"

Similarly, with fewer people behind the fryer, on busier Saturdays, we may run out before our posted close time of 4pm. We will be sure to post on social if this happens. BUT, you can always ensure you receive the kind and quantity of donuts you desire by preordering online.

3) Upcoming Events

Despite these changes, we have a ton of special events coming up:
10/5 - Themed donuts will be available .color.art for the .cat & show
10/6 - We will be open 5-8pm for with a new show "Foraged Mineral Pigments of Colombia" by
10/8 - Chef Daniel Medina of will be serving BRUNCH as part of the
10/14 - will be hosting 's 2nd Annual Latinx Heritage Festival

As always, will be running most Fridays & Saturdays. Buy your tickets before they sell out!

For those who made it through all that, we just want to say thank you for your continued support. It is your enthusiasm that allows us to run stretch our creative muscles, try new things, and run the programs that excite us. We love creating this space for the community and look forward to serving you.

The Chocolate Honeycomb Apple Donuts 🍏 is not only our best selling donut, but it also holds a special place in our hearts 💓

Early last Autumn the team sat down in to brainstorm for our initial popup and this was the first flavor we designed.

It represents our goal to curate flavors that bring culinary techniques to the humble donut while also presenting fresh ingredients.

We made the decision to use fresh apples, whose tartness cuts through the decadent flavor but also, as it sits, melts the honeycomb and chocolate together - making the toppings as ephemeral as its presence on our menu - only appearing for Apple Harvest Fest.

In a few short hours this donut once again retires to our flavor vault.

Available today, 10/1, until 4pm or sold out.
